LKR 9,500 per private boat. Minimum party: two guests. The boat fare covers your party within the assigned passenger allowance. Your booking summary shows this boat charge and any optional services separately, so you can review the full amount before payment.
Foreign price
USD 25 per adult. A minimum of two paying guests gives a minimum booking total of USD 50. The boat is private for your party. Pay online through Genie’s hosted checkout from your private booking page when an amount is due. The server verifies a matching live confirmation before recording payment. Booking confirmation does not collect a payment; your payment status is tracked separately.
From mangroves to island stops
Arrive at the confirmed departure point 15 minutes before your boat leaves. After boarding, follow the mangrove route to the agreed island stops. Land at Kothduwa Temple, view Five Cent Island from the boat and watch the cinnamon demonstration. A brief agreed fish-platform stop is part of the route; taking part in the fish spa is optional and paid separately. Return to the departure jetty at the end of the safari.

What to plan separately
Hotel transport, meals, drinks, fish-spa participation, shopping, voluntary temple donations and tips are separate. Wear clothing that covers shoulders and knees for the temple, and follow the instructions at the entrance. Bring water, sun protection and a camera. Please discuss boarding or walking assistance before booking; island access and boat boarding need individual consideration.
Optional hotel transport
Choose a tuk-tuk or car for pickup, drop-off or both from Ahungalla, Kosgoda, Induruwa, Bentota, Beruwala, Ambalangoda, Hikkaduwa or Akurala. These hotel journeys are additional to the river itinerary. Local visitor transport is quoted; foreign visitor vehicle charges appear separately. Give the correct hotel or address for each selected leg.

Both tours reserve a private boat for your party. This longer itinerary includes a Kothduwa Temple landing and a boat-side view of Five Cent Island. Standard is the shorter option without a temple landing.
Do we get off at Five Cent Island?
No. This itinerary views Five Cent Island from the boat. The temple visit is a landing, and the cinnamon stop includes the agreed demonstration.
Can children join our booking?
Include all children and infants in your passenger count and enter their ages. Per-person safari fares charge ages 12+ at the adult rate, ages 5–11 at 50%, and children under 5 free. Local whole-boat fares stay unchanged. Contact us about suitable life-jacket fit and boarding needs. Every guest counts towards the assigned boat’s eight- or nine-passenger limit.
Will we see wildlife?
You may notice birds or water monitors along the route. Sightings depend on the conditions and the animals themselves, so a particular species or number of sightings is not guaranteed.
When should I consider the trip confirmed?
Eligible fixed-price bookings are confirmed automatically when you submit your chosen future date and start time. No inventory check or staff approval is required. Payment is tracked separately and starts as unpaid. A bank-transfer receipt is reviewed separately against the actual funds received. Review the applicable cancellation and rescheduling terms before paying.
