Before you book

Will other customers share our boat?

No. Standard uses an exclusive boat for your booking party. Choose the longer Private safari if you would also like the Kothduwa Temple landing and a longer cultural route.

How many people can join?

The assigned boat has an eight- or nine-passenger limit, depending on the boat. Every child and infant counts. On per-person safari fares, ages 12+ pay the adult rate, ages 5–11 pay 50%, and children under 5 travel free. Local whole-boat fares stay unchanged. Contact us for larger parties.

Is 90 minutes an exact return time?

Allow approximately 90 minutes on the river. Your selected departure and confirmation provide the agreed timing. Conditions and stop access can affect the journey, so leave time before your next appointment.

When is my booking confirmed?

Eligible fixed-price bookings are confirmed automatically when you submit your chosen future date and start time. No inventory check or staff approval is required. Payment is tracked separately and starts as unpaid. A bank receipt does not mark payment as verified.

Where can I check change and cancellation terms?

Our cancellation policy gives a full refund with at least 30 days of notice, a 50% refund with 14–29 days of notice, and no refund with less than 14 days of notice before departure. Contact us with your booking reference to cancel or ask about a change.
