Cancellation & Refund Policy
Clear refund terms for your Madu River Safari booking.
If you cancel your booking, the refund schedule below applies to the amount you have paid.

How the notice period works
We measure the notice period from when we receive your cancellation request to your scheduled safari departure, using Sri Lanka time (Asia/Colombo). A day is a full 24-hour period.
At least 30 full days of notice qualifies for a full refund. At least 14 full days but fewer than 30 qualifies for a 50% refund. Less than 14 full days qualifies for no refund.
How to cancel
Contact us on +94 75 900 3003 or WhatsApp. Provide your booking reference, the name on the booking and your scheduled safari date and time, and clearly state that you wish to cancel.
The cancellation notice period starts when we receive your request. Keep a copy of your message for your records.
Your refund
A full refund means 100% of the amount paid; a 50% refund means half of the amount paid. No refund is due for guest cancellations received less than 14 days before departure. Refunds are handled separately from the booking cancellation.
